If you had the chance to get up on stage with the pixies and sing/play one song with them would you?what song would it be?
I'd jump at the chance but then i might pussy out cos i can't play/sing...
Just imagine it though,on stage, you look around and your surrounded by the four of them, just think how warm and fuzzy would that make you feel

That is SO gay.

I'm in a wedding band, and we perform Here Comes Your Man every dance, which I sing lead on...so I'd do that one, just cause I know I wouldn't clam up and forget the words. But then again, they probably won't play that one, and they would be mad at me. So, I'd settle for singing The Happening then...my favorite.

I'm a fsh with no i's.
Jefery With One F Posted - 03/04/2004 : 16:58:26
This is a tough one. I'd probably pick one of: Bird Dream of the Olympus Mons, The Happening or I've Been Tired.

Oh, and I got an antique out-of-tune zither for Christmas this year. Maybe while I'm in Winnipeg they'll say "Hey, anybody out there have a zither? We'd love to have a zither solo in the middle of Tame." And I'd get up on stage with my antique out-of-tune zither and rock out with a 20 minute zither solo in the middle of Tame, The Sad Punk, and Santo, my fave.

"And her head has no room."

I have had many, many dreams in which I'm performing with the Pixies. However, I could never imagine taking the place of one of them on stage or anywhere. Perhaps additional instruments. I could do that. Maybe some horns or auxilary percussion. They haven't used banjo in a while. I could do that for them.

"And her head has no room."

If I don't die in the middle of an ecstasy I would sing "Monkey gone to heaven". It's not at all my fave song, but it's my choose if I could sing it, specially that shocking sentence: "Rock me Joseph Alberto Santiago!!!"

I'm a bass player, and my band has covered Mr. Grieves and Gouge Away, so I could handle either of the two. But why would anyone want to look at me play the bass when they could be looking at Kim instead?!!

Since I'm from Puerto Rico I'd play Isla De Encanta and help in the other Spanish lyrics.I'd love to play Ed is Dead,Into The White, and the solos in Debaser and Here Comes Your Man!

NO! That's what I should have said! Heh, don't do my thing.

that's probably the funniest, awesomest (<--- that's not a real word) thing in a Pixies song. I think...

Probally the lead to The Holiday Song or the Rythem to Nimrods Son.
