Nice! Thanks for posting; I'd seen some of the other covers they'd done in other cities but this was a nice touch.
... that said, it makes me think, what would be the most epic Frank Black/Pixies/Black Francis song for Arcade Fire to cover? I feel like it might be the early solo work, that was the most layered and dense. Hmmm...
OK, Arcade covers:
Pixies - Bird Dream of the Olympus Mon (runner up, Motorway to Roswell) Frank Black - Places Named After Numbers Black Francis - Jury's Out
"If we hit this bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."
Black Francis - Jury's Out
I never heard that one, new track?
Oh crap, I've said too much...

Posted - 08/21/2014 : 03:23:26 Though song to play. They did pretty good.
Wasn't sounding that good on the Pixies current tour... Synthesizer part is deeeeeeeply missed (sounded awesome on the "Hollywood Holidays" album with EDF on keyboards)

As for covers..
I'd say Planet of Sound or Motoray. The Cult of Ray (song) or Pie in the Sky or the Adventure & the Resolution Threshold Apprehesion |
