Two interesting clips of Kim obviously fucked up. If this kind of behavior was common when she was with the Pixies, you can understand why there was a lot of friction between her and Charles.

Exactly how is it that I'm trolling? I didn't post any of those videos on Youtube. Deal knew in advance that she was scheduled to do those interviews, it's not like she was spied on, or ambushed. Despite knowing she was going to be interviewed, she got drunk/high anyway. As for Deal reading any of this, you think too much of yourselves. She could care less about the internet, or what some anonymous nobodies say about her on chat forums. I find those old interviews about livestock molestation and parties with drunken felons hysterical. The only people who seem to have a problem with it are fanboys who have gotten sand in their manginas. |

Fair point Darwin, but in a way I like the passive approach the admin has to the site. Clamping down on trolls only feeds their behaviour, this has been shown time and again. I think it's better to just let them have their fun, and in any case they are not really being that offensive. I'm sure if Kim was reading this thread she would probably brush it off and wouldn't care. If it gets out of hand then maybe yes, but personally I kinda like having a few numpties around, they add a bit of humour to the place and I don't see any harm.
I've been on a few sites where they take the more aggressive approach and it just leads to more nonsense and people being banned who shouldn't be banned and all kinds of shit. it's not worth it really. This place has the right attitude. |

We would never have had the Breeders if she got more Pixies songs, and anyway Gigantic and into the White were co-written by Black Francis. Silver wasn't that great and anyway it was a Breeders outake/demo that got chucked onto Doolittle and never performed live until the 20th anniversary tour. That said I would welcome more songs with her singing on them on this long awaited/rumoured new album. The Pixies were Franks bag at the end of the day. |

Just finished reading 'fool the world'. Certainly Kim had these substance issues. However, as much as that BF formed the band so would run it as he saw fit. The book suggests that she wanted more responsibility lyrically and vocally, he wasn't willing to oblige. It was his way or the highway. I take from the book that she wanted to be an equal in every way. Ah well, we'll never know the full story..... quote:
