I heard that the Pixies are planning a Surfer Rosa Tour, I can't remember where I heard this. Am I dellusional or is this in the works? |

We got a special extended encore treat at the glasgow gig in 2009 to make up for the fuck up in 1991 which was well received. Slightly annoyingly though they used it as an opportunity to play all songs from Surfer Rosa/COP! I've just had a run of bad luck with Pixies gigs. |

I'd rather see a Bossanova tour. I'd be happy with a year long moratorium on WWIM, Holiday, Nimrods, Cactus, Broken Face, Something A., Gigantic. There are a few I'd like to hear off Surfer Rosa, but Bossanova was a tour that isn't as well represented as any of the other tours in terms of the live archive.
Not to mention the stage show would be really spacy. |

In Paris in 2005 they played 3 songs from BN (Sotrmy, Is She Weird, Allison) and 6 from TLM (Suub, Sad Punk, Head On, U Mass, Planet, Alec). Awesome gig. I didn't bother going to see the Doolittle tour.

but they have been playing bossanova and trompe le monde tracks. and not just one or two tracks. you're definitely exaggerating.

No. I've seen them play more times than I've heard them play songs from the latter two albums (ok slight exaggeration but close!). So very NOT OK. Unless they start playing some Boss/tromp stuff I wont be buying another ticket to go see them. |

Fuck that! There come back tour was practically a surfer rosa tour and pretty much 90% of what I've seen them play have been Surfer Rosa/Pilgrim ad Doollittle! I demand a Bossanova/Trompe Le Monde tour! |
