Hi there, and welcome all.
I wanted to ask some of you that are familiar with Pixies rare releases about a release that I've picked up for like 15$ in my local music store today. Along with buying first UK pressing of Come On Pilgrim (finally!) and few 12" Pixies singles, my eyes stopped upon an item that I've never seen before. This happened to be the Doolittle Sampler (link: http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/pixies/doolittle_f6/) that was a promo item back in 1989, it was limited to 2,000 copies that were sent directly to radios. I'm really curious - how rare it is? Is it as valuable as I think? As a collector myself, I know there are many items that seem to be pretty uncommon but in the end it turns out that they're not as difficult to obtain as I thought.

If anyone could help me - I'd be gracious.

i also own a copy of this promo.
i don't think it's impossibly rare or valuable. $15 sounds like a good deal though.

it's educational

Thanks, I've already seen that site along with dozens of other sites that all share the same information. But I'll be patient, if there's anyone also holding this gem then I'll just wait for the comment :).

I don't know nothing but here's another page with a tracklist and a less-pretty picture:

sounds like a good find!
