Posted - 04/23/2007 : 09:23:40 ok aside from the obvious i remember when i fist got into the vu i thought one of the lines from one of their (vu) songs reminded me of ive been tired. i thought right then that must be another lou reed reference. it might not be ive been tired but im pretty sure it is. anyways i know im being very vague but does anyone know of what this other reference to lou reed is that im talking about? |

Posted - 04/23/2007 : 17:37:32 i dont think thats it ive been listening to the vu today hoping it would hit me but it didnt yet. it might even be a lou reed solo album but i only had 2 solo albums when i noticed this. but i think the reference had to do with her saying i like lou reed. either franks "i wanna be a singer like lou reed" or something he says after that kinda mocks her. like he is calling her out for not knowing who lou reed is. like an example of what i mean. if you told someone you liked the pixies and they said i like the pixies too, then just to test them youd say something "youre the son of a motherfucker" a real pixies fan would get it but a poser would be offended. thats the kind of lou reference i heard before but i forget which song its from. |

Just a guess.
