Actually pretty bad ass. It's got the Frank opening 'hey' sampled throughout. The song is called 'Money Back Guarantee' by Pigeon John:

I'm actually thinking about going to see this guy in Toronto in a couple of weeks. That sound is dope, yo.

The song has Frank yelling "Hey!" (that's sampling) but the guy himself sings "Just tryin' to meet you" repeatedly throughout the lyrics, and the bass line -- which carries through the entire song -- is exactly as Kim laid it down. It's a ripoff, if you ask me. If he were to make a million bucks off this song, I think the Pixies would have a legal case against him. (I'm assuming he didn't get permission, though I don't know that for a fact.)

Cool song, anyhow.

You big numpty, you. Most music that's not rock'n'roll does this pretty much the whole time. If he's releasing it commercially, he'll certainly have clearance because it wouldn't be worth the grief for his label if he didn't. It's only a little different to a band getting permission to cover the song.

I listened to most of the wrong one for ages and thought hang on, this is ripping off REM not the pixies...

Now I got it. It's weird.

Idiot.

I didn't think much of it last night when I listened it but I woke up this morning wanting to listen to it again. It's not bad actually.

But I do think the "Hey!" sounds out of place.
