Aw man, those Beach Boys and Elvis 'interpretations' are marvellous.

Thanks a lot Pixiestu!
Oh, by the way, there's a new cover on Matt's Myspace...

Yeah, I'd like another chance to download Mr Grieves, as I missed it first time round. Heard it but didn't download it.
Billy Radcliffe Posted - 05/11/2006 : 14:41:21
Any possibility of reposting any of the older ones again on some sort of rotation? The fave of faves is now gone... which was Bob Marley's Mr. Grieves... And I don't know how many others I haven't heard yet

As for a cover idea... How about Head on, by the Jesus and Mary Chain. Just Kidding. Seriously Though, How's about a little something in the David Bowie Ziggy Era... like maybe the happening.

I could talk myself to death, but I believe I would only waste my breath.

I've invited him to the Nimrod's show, hopefully he'll make it and I can thank him on behalf of the world. Still deciding which tune to come onstage to :D

They should interview this guy for the podcast. And play a song. In fact, not to go off topic, but they should do some interviews in general for the podcast.
pixiestu Posted - 05/07/2006 : 14:42:08
I liked the Bob Marley Mr Grieves best.

Vamos by Hendrix is now on.

I heard these a while ago, and was so blown away.
Can't wait to hear Hendrix doing Vamos. Should be incredible.
I emailed Matthew on mypace, asking how he did it, and never recieved a reply. I guess a magician never reveals his secret.
The Bee Gees' Wave is amazing, it seems to make so much sense.
Brilliant.

Wow, really well done. The Sinatra one was my favourite, great work.

black franciscan Posted - 04/28/2006 : 03:25:05
Argh..!

This only confirms what I suspected all along...

The man, Frank Black, is a charlatan!!!

He is in fact Nikola Tesla, who during the 1920's designed and built, Doc Brown style, a time machine from his hotel room in the New Yorker...

Marty McFly style he has traveled through time stealing hit's from the greatest performers the 20th Century had to offer and then chose the weakest period in musical history to unleash his 'Frankenstien' of music, beating us all into submission under the guise of the Pixies!

Matthew - how did you discover the secret and where can I get more evidence..?

My mind is like the ocean...
