Dead and I Bleed off SNUB TV
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0bxPbWicgc&fmt=18

So much to love about this clip; the matching red sweatshirts, Kim yawning, and when asked "What's you guys' philosophy?", Francis answers "We used to have one but we don't have one anymore".

Anyone remember SNUB tv?. That show was great for a whole bunch of post-Pixies acts. Might as well have called the show Pixies TV. Then they repeated later in the week so you could get the VCR ready.

That makes a good theme/basis for a compilation disc: tracks that "have been #1 at some point". With a guy as prolific and gifted as Frank, the challenge may be getting it on one disc.

Screw it. It's too hard. Everyone time I pick one favorite, I have another favorite 10 minutes later. Can I say everything on Surfer Rosa?

I take back Monkey Gone To Heaven.

Gigantic is my new favorite. How does he do that high pitched "ah, ah, ah," at the beginning?

Is that the version from the '91 Brixton show?

Debaser and the single version of river euphrates.

Raries: I love the demo version of gouge away on purple tape 2 - fantastic! Also the live version of Tame on the Alec Eiffel single is insane. I defy anyone to find me a better live recording of FB screaming "TAAAAAAAAMMME!!"

Grew up to be a Debaser

Today it's V-E-L-O-U-R-I-A.
I first heard this one sooo long ago that lately I usually skip it. Well, I guess it's made the cycle and now it seems really cool again! You know what I mean?
PeterD Posted - 07/23/2006 : 00:00:04
probably the demo version of tame that was given away with spiral scratch magazine, basically because its raw and exciting, still is listening to it now.

Nobody likes Monkey Gone To Heaven? That and Debaser. Of course, I've only heard Doolittle and Surfer Rosa (lost Rosa, though).

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

This changes from time to time but at the moment, its Tame. My favorite used to be I Bleed.

Come On Pilgrim : Caribou (but I prefer the BBC version)
Surfer Rosa : Brick Is Red
Doolittle : Number 13/Gouge Away (I can't pick up just one off this record)
Bossanova : Blown Away
Trompe Le Monde : Alec Eiffel/The Sad Punk/Motorway To Roswell (ep, three is a crowd, I'm aware of this... But they are some amazing gems ! ).

I love that live version of Bam Thwok that someone posted here. I really think it's better than their recorded version.

Today my favourite is Blown Away. I'm pretty sure every Pixies song has been my favourite at some point.
