Posted - 12/10/2005 : 05:25:50 Hello everyone. This is my first post here.
I'm almost new on pixies world. I only own the wave of mutilation best of cd and 2004 sell out dvd. I also have a copy of Doolittle.
I always thought that the following version of where is my mind was the original one, until I bought the wave of mutilation cd and realized that it isn't.
Does anyone know which version is this, in which cd could I find it or something?

I love this version much more than any other. |

Posted - 12/15/2005 : 14:52:51 I didn't think that any version of 'Where Is My Mind?' could ever be as good as the original.
...and I still don't...
(not that the Nada Surf cover is bad)

Posted - 12/12/2005 : 18:16:33 That's the best version of Where is My Mind I have ever heard. It's even better than the versions on FBF and Surfer Rosa. I have to check out Nada Surf. |

Posted - 12/12/2005 : 05:46:47 I came home from band practice on Friday night to catch the end of James Blunt covering Where Is My Mind on some BBC programme dedicated to him. Quite upsetting.
Blunt was indeed the word.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

That's a great start.
The link you posted just takes me to the verve site so I couldn't hear the mp3. But Where Is My Mind? on 'The Best Of" is taken from the Pixies album Surfer Rosa. You will definately be wanting to hear this album if you've liked what you've heard so far. |
