Have there ever been any acoustic Pixies cd's released? If not, is it even possible to get bootlegged versions of acoustic Pixies?

Thanks

i intend to get some of my old cassette recordings on to my computer (now that i have a new decent one!), i just have to buy some sort of a cassette player with a line out plug... so will let you know when i get round to it... it won't be anytime too soon - probably a few months... i also have Black Francis at the Borderline London 1990 and the Pixies at the Point Theartre Dublin 1991 to transfer also....

Can you imagine even half of Joey's solo bits without distortion and sustain? Unless he was the only one "plugged" (albeit at a suitable volume), I don't think I'd want to ever hear the Pixies Unplugged.

Someone's gotta record the acoustic pixies and convert it to them mp3 files.

I wonder if it would make perfect elevator music.

I wonder if they would dare to play MTV unplugged.

look for "the dream is over" it's frank solo electric 1992 thats the best i can think off outside the great frank black francis cd1 recordings which are easy to find and as good as anything under the moon or Sun.
