Anyone else heard the cover of
"Where Is My Mind" by Ghoti Hook?
I just caught a bit of it on the radio this morning. At first I was stunned they were playing the Pixies, but I quickly realized it was not them.
Thoughts? Opinions?

I heard the Ghot Hook cover before I heard the Pixies version. It might have been the difference between buying Surfer Rosa or not. I was on the fence back in those days. I had Doolittle, I was happy, but I was told other Pixie albums stunk. Needless to say, those people were fools. So, I guess besides Alan Cross, I have to thank Ghoti Hook for getting me into the Pixies. |

It's neither subtle nor powerful. Not a great cover, to be honest. Not the worst, either, I suppose! |

ive heard the placebo cover and i was outraged! i thought it sucked SUCKED compared to the pixies...and then i almost went hysterical when all these people i know were going like "yeah...the placebo version is sooo much better" and they were being so unsesative and rude! dam,n them! :P |
