This morning I woke up early and was in a grumpy mood. Until I heard Here Comes Your Man Live on my radio station! The cool part is it was from the Fine Line Show.

Does anyone else get live Pixies on the Radio or not???

I feel so lucky. Hopefully they'll play more live stuff, too!

Smendzry... Great to hear from you!!

I will definately check out the new station. I am definately looking for a change, due to the reason you mentioned and I just don't cosider certain bands such as Dave Matthews and INXS as alternative! Plus, I wish they would focus more on newer music.

Plus I have a very warm spot for public radio. My first full time job after college was for a public radio/tv station.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hi there Daisy Girl,
I've been hearing the live "Here Comes Your Man" on Drive105 too!
As much as I hate that station for playing the same stuff over and over, at least they play the Pixies.
btw, make sure to check out what's happening with 89.3 - it's a new modern rock station starting up, which will be commercial-free and have some djs from the legendary Rev105! Here's the blog:

There is this "alternative format" station here in San Diego California they play some decent pixies tunes. They played Alec Effiel the other day, of course debaser, here comes your man, monkeys gone to heaven get regualr rotation, i've heard bone machine, head on, wave of mutilation. I've never heard any live tunes, but there pretty good about representing the pixies, but yeah i hate the radio too, i only listen on my way to work when i don't have a cd player, but they good about getting some pixies songs on when i request them, but yeah kill your radio radio sux
