Posted - 12/09/2004 : 09:39:45 I was browsing some photos on www.pixiesmusic.com, and I came across this 'un:
This is a very different Pixies than I'm used to seeing. Other than Frank showing a little belly (which he mostly does unintentionally now), they seem far more "cool" in this picture. Kim and Joey are not looking at the camera; in fact Kim seems far more concerned with her cigarette. Frank is striking a sexy, Mick Jagger-esque pose, and Dave has his shirt open. It almost looks like he has eye-liner on. They're so 80s-cool in this picture, I love it. It's a stark contrast to the four people in the Velouria video, for instance. Other than the fact that Joey looks 12, they look pretty bad ass. |

Posted - 12/11/2004 : 04:47:54 The light in that picture makes Frank look scarily thin, I adore the man but it makes me want to feed him some pies.
Than obviously, or now, if he wants a pie he's welcome to come round of course.

Posted - 12/10/2004 : 19:47:50 Kim looks like she should be in the Pretenders. Joey is dressed like a guy from The Jam. Frank is sexy but not in the "should show his belly way". David looks like someone who would play in the backup band to Paula Abdul. |

He was wearing eyeliner. I was wearing eyeliner.
