contains the results of John Peel's festive 50s for a number of years. Pixies featured from 1988 to 1991, with the most successful year being 1989 as a result of Doolittle. (individual years are at the bottom of the page.) Listeners to the show had to send in their top three songs from the year, and the late, lamented Peelie drew up the charts.

ha, and for Fall fans you'll note there's at least one Fall song every year from 1979 to 03
