Posted - 05/23/2006 : 14:31:51 Hey,
I've been noticing that many times when someone on the forum replies with a quote from someone else, their text is also very small like the quoted text. Has anyone else noticed this? I don't remember it doing this before a couple of weeks ago. Is this intended behavior? Or am I just going crazy?

Posted - 08/09/2006 : 12:48:37 I use Firefox too, so it might just be with Firefox. Still, it only happens to me when quoting a long post, so if you are really bothered by it, just put [ size=2 ] [ /size=2 ] (without spaces) around your text. It worked for me.

Posted - 07/26/2006 : 08:35:16 I just went to the FAQ and quoted the really long first post, then wrote something after. When I previewed it, my writing was the size of the quote's writing. I tried again in the same thread, but with a shorter post, and it was back to normal. Does that happen to anyone else.

Posted - 07/25/2006 : 17:28:08 It seems like when you're quoting something really long, or a multiple quote chain thing (one person quoting another person quoting another person...) your text is made smaller to save space or something.

Posted - 05/23/2006 : 20:04:08 It's never happened to me, but I've noticed other people posts like that before. I assumed it was either the deliberate (for some reason) or accidentally typing within the QUOTE bracketts.

Posted - 05/23/2006 : 15:48:28 For example, the first four replies-with-quotes on page 2 of the "Jesus H. Christ" thread in General Chat have the QUOTER'S text the same size as the people who are being quoted. For some reason, the first reply with quote that looks normal is Erebus'.
Sorry to be confusing, maybe my computer is the only one displaying it that way, but at least I know it's not me.

Posted - 05/23/2006 : 15:44:20 But it's not been in MY posts (because I rarely reply with quote.) It's been in probably ten or twelve posts around the forum from other people recently. When I did reply with quote, I had to manually reposition my cursor outside the [ q ][ / q ] brackets, which is not a big deal, but it's something I never had to do before.
BTW, I'm using Firefox which doesn't normally have any issues with things like that.

I've been seeing what you've described for ages. I figured maybe an [/quote] wasn't being picked up or something. Normally it only happens once. The same post will appear normal the next time I visit the thread.

I've been using Mozilla and (most recently) Firefox.
