Posted - 08/30/2004 : 10:58:24 Sorry if this has been posted a thousand times before, but is the FB&tC's stuff on www.cinderblock.com official? I'm assuming its not, but I really, really want that pink t-shirt. Is there anywhere else to get legit Catholics stuff?

Posted - 09/06/2004 : 07:23:05 thanks for the link.
i just ordered the kittie shirt for the mrs and the devil shirt for myself. pretty excited. my cult of ray shirt has seen better days. i'm thinking about turning the devil shirt into a hockey style jersey- put fumanbru on the back with the number 666.

Posted - 09/04/2004 : 08:38:10 I like those shirts a lot and the shipping is ok... my other half likes the catholics kittie one so maybe I'm gonna give it to her we will match perfectly (since I already got the male kittie shirt from the tour)

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 06:00:44 yes i did notice that denis, but i'm comfortable with it - for now. just as long as you stay there...
but the justifucation problem is tricky, but i think i'll be able to get away with it cause my wife is always complaining about my raggedy/holey t-shirts and sweatshirts..... i think i have a winning angle.
however, a pixies sweatshirt, a frank T and a sigur ros T comes to $48 which is a little excessive. but we'll see. and anyways i get the mail every day and she never looks at our bank statements....but i'm sure the plan would break down once i actually wore one.

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 05:47:13 That's what I just checked, thanks benji (did you notice you're only 100 posts ahead of me? Watch out! Ahahaaaaa!). Now what you mention about your wife/girlfriend is also a problem to me. Does anyone know I could buy this t-shirt without my wife getting mad at me?

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 05:20:19 and it's $4.30 for just 1 t-shirt regardless of where you live. so the catholics one turns out damn cheap. and the pixies stuff cheaper than it was at the gigs.

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 04:40:06 i also emailed them asking about the free t-shirt deal - her's what i got back The free shirt can be of any cut, color, or style with any kind of Cinder Block logo on it. Bascially whichever kinds of shirts we have extras of are made into our free swag shirts. This is why there can't be any specifications made of what kind/size you would like to receive. It's more like the luck of the draw, although we try to keep as consistent as we can with the size.
i was hoping i could choose the free one - apparently not.

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 04:38:34 you gotta put in details first. i put in random letters to see what the shipping was and from memory from doing a few days ago it was $20 for 2 t-shirts and a hoodie, which were $65. thought it was quite good tho - ended up being £48 for the entire lot, which is pretty damn cheap.
but i never ordered it - my other half would not be best pleased.

Posted - 09/03/2004 : 03:19:17 Has anyone from Europe ever ordered from cinderblock.com? I can't find the shipping prices on their site, but they say they ship via DHL Worldmail which might be a bit pricey.

yes it looks like the shirts they were selling on the EURO SMYT tour, although ramona says that that doesn't mean anything these days. She is absolutely right.

Posted - 09/02/2004 : 17:49:01 According to the Pixies tour rider (located here: http://thesmokinggun.com/backstagetour/pixies/pixies_4.html ) cinderblock is the official pixies & frank black & the catholics merchandiser. |

Posted - 09/02/2004 : 13:19:24 That pink shirt does *look* like the stuff they had at the shows last year, but I know that doesn't mean much these days.
Jeeze, I sound like such a grampa.

Posted - 09/02/2004 : 12:19:58 I've never heard of Cinderblock, so I thought it worthy of looking into, I imagine you're probably right if they're reputable and well-known, but I've never heard of em...
Also seems odd that there'd be FB solo merch and we wouldn't've heard about it here.

you are really thinking that cinderblock would do something illegal? I mean weezer, for instance, has their t-shirts (with cinderblock link and cinderblock brand) on their official website. Maybe this is a weak argument, but still.

Posted - 09/01/2004 : 21:51:07 I was gonna get that shirt, but cinderblock only have it in a medium's girl tee. So I got the less impressive but more fitting 'Devils' shirt.
