well, the chords i'm comparing it to are C F G i think. pretty similar if you consider this: the Dsus is adding a G note to a normal D. if you wanted to replicate this chord change with a single bass note, your best bet is probably going up 5 frets to the G. however, if we just say that it's a low G instead, it's a movement of 7 frets down (if we keep this all on the E string) and then two up for the A.
So it's the same chord progression as twist and shout, but a step higher!

ok i remember the song it definitely DOES sound like... and i kill anyone who disagrees.... la bamba! it sounds so alike i'd find it hard to believe no one else has thought this.
ok if not that, then laid by james. anyone heard?

it's not the whole song, infact most of it sounds nothing like it, but the 'D Dsus A' bit, is a bit like twist and shout, even though i checked and they're not at all the same.
