I <3 Teenager of the Year. In addition to having great songs, I think it has some awesome lead guitar work from Lyle Workman. Does anyone have any information about what he has done before and after working with Frank? Thanks.

And dont get me wrong, Dave and Rich are great too.

So Im headed for the stereo store, to buy a white noise maker, and turn it up to ten.

Where did you hear that song was about Lyle? Interesting theory. Should be good for some gossip. Although he did resurface in a few spots on Devil's Workshop?

Wasn't 'Bad Harmony' about Lyle?

I think that's Rich Gilbert with Tanya Donnelly...

Did he also do some work with Tanya Donnelly?

I think his countrified style would work beautifully with the newer Catholics stuff.

How come he doesn't have a bio in the band page, not significant enough? Oversight!

He also scored the MADE soundtrack.

I wanna play with Ginger Spice too...

I believe Lyle himself wanted to go another way
and that Frank was always aware of that he wouldn't stay
with the catholics forever
Someone posted a link to an interview about it
that was the last time we discussed this
it's a popular theme

I think Lyle could adapt to whatever Frank was playing. I think he'd work wonders with the current style Frank has been doing. I mean, I'm not saying he should be on every album, and I'm down with the other lead guitarists Frank gets, but I really enjoy Lyle

Thanks guys. Im not sure how much I "miss him," though. Im not quite sure how well his skills would suit the newer catholics stuff, but it was perfect for TOTY and COR. He was the man of the moment to propel frank's work to even greater heights, just as the pixies were before and the Catholics now. Frank has a history of working with some great musicians.

I too, miss Lyle. I wonder if he ever reads this forum. Frank's fans really appreciate his guitar playing. Wish we could get him back on board, but then, that's always Frank's call.
