Like you, Frank and David are running neck and neck as far as my current faves. Can't go wrong with either lad.

You are lucky! I guess it will be difficult to see him again in Portugal! But you never know! I didn´t expect to see the Pixies and I DID! Anything can happen!

Do you know the reason?

Bowie And Frank are my favorite artists. I have that double cd of the Bowie birthday bash at Madison Square Garden. It is great to hear the banter between those two ! (seems to be a mutual admiration) . The photo I've seen is so cool, because seeing David and Frank standing next to each other, David looks exceedingly thin, and Franks looks pretty round!!!

They are my favorite too!
now I´m more on Frank Black, but I still admire Bowie.
I was going to his concert in Oporto in July but it has been cancelled! It´s sad! Never had the oporttunity to see him live!

I have the mp3 from that birthday show where db and fb perform "fashion". Email or AIM me if you need this mp3. FB also plays with db on Reeves Gabrel's solo album on a song called jewel.

Try putting the words 'Bowie' and 'birthday' into e-bay's search engine, and you might get lucky. While we're on the subject, I saw Bowie at the Isle of Wight festival last week; and before he did Cactus (third song in), he said how great it was that The Pixies had reformed after all these years. He didn't do The Laughing Gnome, though.

...where the Ballyhoos and the Tritons are.

Was it actually made into an album? I thought it was just a television celebration for Bowie.
