Posted - 05/09/2004 : 02:46:21 While reading another post about the involvement of Frank's [former?] wife Jean in the 2003 alt film/short "The Low Budget Time Machine" .. I notice the soundtrack info has Frank Black & Joey Santiago contributing something?? But what it is I do not know.. Does anyone have any clues as to what the FB related track/s were in the film?

Posted - 05/10/2004 : 13:42:29 like I said this has been discussed
link (which I'm sure was posted on this site before): http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyID=6389048&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID
the song was written before the SMYT songs were submitted to BMI but after BLD and DW were, so that sort of gives you the time that this was written.

The soundtrack indeed includes a previously unreleased FB song, 'My Name Is Gary'. But that's all I know, unfortunately.

Posted - 05/10/2004 : 06:59:06 we discussed this actually I'm 100% sure Joey and Frank do a song which is original and quite recent we discovered it on a BMI site were all frank songs are listed (you know the songs he published)

Posted - 05/09/2004 : 21:21:04 Actually, most of the conversation was on the acting portion of it... I don't recall anything about them contributing to the soundtrack, very interesting.

Posted - 05/09/2004 : 18:17:55 Further to LBTM, I see FB [& Dave Phillips] were actually in it too "acting" .. it's 2002 not 2003 .. and it says "original music by..."
This topic was probably slapped around long ago.. but I'm still curious to know what the FB musical content was, even if it isn't commercially available/ yet...
