Posted - 07/09/2003 : 05:36:26 The following wishes to be a complete listing of all the EP released by Frank Black. Also included are live shows but only official releases and the Peel Sessions. For bootlegs someone should start a separate list (that would be great heh? I don't think one has been compiled yet!).
I hope people will chip in with any corrections and info and I'll edit the list if you know any of the following:
1. The time length of a track 2. The exact date of official release of EP 3. Country released in (as sometimes there are different versions). This would only call for US, UK or France since they have the biggest fan bases (though other fans are just as precious - you can mention the release in your country if you want but it will be left as a reply not edited to list) 4. Also if you have one you could post a front cover (only one for each single)

Almost as crazy as the fact that my "You ain't me" french EP and my "Men in black" german EP have both the same number 05012.

Posted - 09/28/2003 : 08:54:05 I picked up Frank Black Live with They Might Be Giants (1993): in an awesome cd store in wilmington, nc .. gem of a disc... although i was surprised by the commercials and endorsement of lipton tea by fb. they were pushing the flavored type in the commercials .. i figured the stuff didnt make it but i saw the rasberry type recently and got it.. and its not bad. tmbg is a really nice addition and a well done cover of This is where I belong makes this a fine addition to a fb collection. I wish he would add this is where i belong to his current play list. I really would like to see him play that live. Frank Black Live with They Might Be Giants[/b][/u] (1993): 1.One Step Beyond 2.I Heard Ramona Sing 3.Los Angeles 4.Every Time I Go Around Here 5.Parry the Wind High, Low 6.Mammal 7.Particle Man 8.Tossed 9.Adda Lee 10.Fu Manchu 11.This Is Where I Belong 12.Ten Percenter 13.Czar 14.Spy

As far as I know, this "EP" (?) is available only in bootleg form.

Posted - 07/09/2003 : 13:27:32 I've been working on the database for probably 6 months or so. Dave has had it in his possession for at least 2 of those months. It has not seen the light of day. I have half a mind to delete this thread because now that this exists, less effort will be put into having the database on the actual site (since it's on the forum...and nobody visits the actual site, right?)

Posted - 07/09/2003 : 13:08:27 Well... I thought that my little half-assed attempt might spoil the greater vision, etc. I know the proper database is in construction but its taking so long I felt frustrated hence this topic. But if people are willing to contribute it might be possible for this to become the most accurate and complete listing anywhere... and become intergated in the final version.
