Let's see if I can keep this one rolling on the life support trobrianders provided. Off the top of my head, the one that always comes to mind for me is: "Parry the wind. High. Low... Parry the wind... Hiiiiiiigh-low!"

Just listened to a live version and it was definitely 'melting' . To be honest the album version sounds at times like it could be either but I'm pretty sure it is 'melting'.

"The arc of triumph"

I know what the lyric sheet says but I hear melted. I also feel foolish furthering this discussion. I'm at my nerd threshold.

Huh. I always thought it was melting, not melted.

It sure must be great to play!
Ziggy Posted - 03/05/2010 : 23:59:07
I love 'Captain Pasty'. Probably one of my favourite riffs to play when picking up a guitar!
ruzom Posted - 03/05/2010 : 08:25:12
I was very, very impressed by Captain Pasty the first time I listened to it. And even after.

Underrated song in my opinion! I don't see it often quoted as a favorite, and I think that's a shame.
