Posted - 10/09/2007 : 18:12:19 Oh gee. Anything goes. But my favorite is when I was a young guy I worked in Customer Service for a large healthcare company in Montreal with clients across Canada. I left a message for a buyer, spelling my first name slowly B-E-N, O-I-T. A few hours later a colleague puts a call on hold and asks the team "There's someone here looking for Mr. Ben Oyt???". That was a running gag for a long time.

Posted - 10/09/2007 : 18:01:02 Benoit. Great name. I seem to remember hearing an Anglicized version of that name when I was a kid. Was there a runner named something Benoit? It was like ben-OYT. I bet you prounounce it Frenchly, yes? buh-NWAH?
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Posted - 10/09/2007 : 17:44:20 Well, I'm certainly a bigger fan than you kathryn since, well, I got a personalized pic, not you. HA HA. Not to mention seeing him all the way 2,000 miles from home. HA HA HA.
(euphoria makes me act childish, sorry)

Posted - 10/09/2007 : 17:35:30 Well what's with the screaming capitals for your name? Got some personal thing going on with him that the rest of us don't know about? Don't tell me he thinks you're his biggest fan in Quebec.

Posted - 10/08/2007 : 19:50:07 not to be a buzz kill but I think we should say it looks as though this offer is part of a one-time deal to the very first people who ordered bluefinger from blackfrancis.net. it's not a part of every order.

Posted - 10/08/2007 : 12:00:39 He nearly misspelled his name there -- see how he had to go back and add the "n." More evidence that he needs to just be Frank. This whole Black Francis thing is a bit forced.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Excellent idea, Fu, and great photo! Maybe Frank is on his was to Banbury cross? ;)
Actually, that photo is making me think of the Blue Jay Way sequence in Magical Mystery Tour, with the rocking horse...seeing as he's going through a kind of surreal phase, maybe Frank should do his own little strange cult musical movie!
