Posted - 09/28/2007 : 02:17:34 So, I just tried posting on it for shits and giggles but got a message returned to me...RIP abstract plain . . .- me (cigarettebuttbeach) and (gasp) Malta. as if anyone remembers... Unrelated, I think Bluefinger is franks best release in years! However, if I had one complaint it would be that Pasty wre the second track and Threshold the first. Anyone Anyone? |

The iMusic BBS started in '99, when Pistolero got released. As they say: "You don't KNOW, you weren't THERE!"

Posted - 09/30/2007 : 13:27:51 Frankblackforpresident sucked! The AbstractPlain ruled.
At the risk of sounding really old... Was anybody here a member of the iMusic Bulletin Board? That was pre-AbstractPlain.

Posted - 09/30/2007 : 12:09:59 Pasty is a brilliant opening track. The riff, and the build up to the drums crashing in... it's a perfect rock song.

Oh yeah. I forgot about them. It's nice that everything got centralized here. This is the VHS ( vs. Beta Max) or Microsoft of Frank Black sites. |

Posted - 09/29/2007 : 07:19:17 I joined both of those mailing lists shortly before the forum came into being, which means I didn't have a chance to see either of them in their heyday. I still get spam mail from at least one of them, though.

Posted - 09/28/2007 : 08:56:30 Hi lauren. No, actually, I wouldn't switch 'em!
Anyone for knob Marmite? |

Posted - 09/28/2007 : 05:23:54 Welcome Lauren. Yes, I switched them too. Threshold is a great kick starter like Debaser and Pasty leads better into Test Pilot.
