Posted - 08/02/2007 : 09:55:41 Listening to the new Ween 'Friends' EP I noticed the song 'Friends' features a brief sample from 'Ludwigshaffen.' It's just the count off in German from the very beginning of the song. It occurs in 'Friends' at 2:30. I'm certain.
Check it out if you've got the Ween EP.

Yeah, my better half agrees with you toeknee. In her words, "It's a stretch." I really was certain at 10:00 this morning though. Must be this damn Ohio heat. At any rate I hope you enjoy the Ween song, and I recommend the Friends EP if that's your thing. And hi, Carl.

I think I was a little quick to post as well - I managed to call Frank Black a 'German man.' Oops. Maybe one for the funny pictures thread? |

Here's the song, if I may take the liberty. Let me know if this is a no-no.

Wow wow wow. What's going on here? A mod popped up and edited a post? I thought FB.net mods were something like the Bigfoot, some mythical creature only KoK believed in...

Sorry to rain on your parade, but there is no Frank sample in this song, unless you count the similarity of two German men saying numbers. The tune is different, and FB says 'sechs sieben neun funf neun' (or something like that) whereas this guy says 'eins zwei eins zwei drei vier.' Pretty good song though! |
