Not the fabled PIXIES version...

Just wondering how many people out there have got (or have heard) the version by Larry Norman & Frank Black - Live: Elsinore Theatre, Salem, Oregon 24 June 2005.

Yeah, the Elsinore CD was available half an hour after the concert ended. (That's why the volume drops for the band tracks - Normal was on stage and so not able to control the recording). Larry normally (pun unintentional) never has a set list of any sort, and even when he does (as at this show), he never sticks to it anyway. Hence the packaging was made up beforehand with no tracklist. There was a 'program' available at the concert which gave information on the many performers.

What is what and how do you get what?

1. Watch What You're Doing (Live @ Elsinore with FB) can be purchased from Larry Norman at http://www.merchantmanager.com/phydeaux/ (Or if you're interested in LN then navigate via www.larrynorman.com).

I guess you guys will like the DVD more than the CD. Note that Frank played and sang on more than just that one song. The band also included Mark Lemhouse and all of GoM. (Normal, Skippy, Blix and Silver).

2. The FB/ML/LN/GoM project is not available yet. But I read somewhere here that you guys like being surprised by what Frank does next...............

I like surprises... By the way, I did not know FB featured on other songs besides WWYD - and did not know ML, Normal, etc. were in the band. Have had no DVD/visuals of the concert, only CD (which had very sparse info and no track-list if I recall).

I'm interested.

did you read about this, '65:

quote:
New CD project with Frank Black and Larry Norman

G.O.M. guitarist Charles Normal is in a Portland, Oregon recording studio working on a secretive CD project with Frank Black, singer of the legendary Pixies, singer/songwriter Larry Norman, and Mark Lemhouse backed by the Guards of Metropolis. The CD is still at the pre-production stage with an eventual release date slated for Spring 2007.
