Posted - 05/02/2007 : 13:15:38 I always assumed that Massif Central was just a kind of fantasy song about packing it in and moving to the French Mountains, but then I noticed that there is a kind of wine called Chateauneuf de Pape, which translates to "New Castle of the Pope" (New House of the Pop) that is French and from a region close to the Massif Central. I was wondering if anyone knew if that is where he was when he wrote the album.

Posted - 05/03/2007 : 10:45:02 Hi olirockcity. He has suggested currently taking up residence in Luxembourg, but that is likely to be a bit of fun. Unless he's there on a little holiday? He's certainly said he'd like to move to France, maybe when the kids are a bit older! |

Not really. Massif central is, as its name tells, in the center of the country whereas Chateauneuf du Pape is located south east (north of Marseille). |
