I'm not sure why, but there's a great relief that comes with saying that to me, this is the best song Frank Black has ever created. I'd never been able to say that up till now, because I never found 1 song to be so perfect. But I'm now 100% sure that this is my favorite. I think when that piano starts, every time I hear it, my heart wants to burst.
Anyone else love this track ? At almost 30, I listen to these albums now and find I relate to them much more then the days of slow slow slow FAAAAAAAAAST.
This music inspires me much more.

Of course, Oasis rip their entire repetoire off The Beatles (and The Stones), so Radiohead and Frank don't exactly have a case to answer too! |

it's not up for debate. i'm just saying it amazes me. wow, yes, opinions are subjective and a wide range are valid. but some can still be shocking.

It amazes me that such a personal choice could even be up for debate. Some people on here *hated* pistolero. At first that shocked me, but now I know just how different everyone on here is.

While I don't think I could say that I think it's actually the best song he's ever written, I too think it's fantastic and a stand-out. I love playing and singing it on guitar. The main hook where he sings the title of the song is absolutely wonderful. Hmmm....maybe subconsiously it is my favorite! :D |

Not really, but Fastman/Raiderman has plenty of moments like this for me contained in other songs. Only last night was I cranking out 'Wanderlust'. |
