Posted - 12/30/2006 : 14:16:07 I just recently noticed that in the db it lists 4 hidden tracks at the end of DITS, but I never heard them on my version. Was it on a different release or something?

I bought DITS the day it came out so there's a logic explanation I could however download them or try to locate a american copy (a spinART one)

What sucks, is that there are no real indications on the cover of the cd (if you were to look for them in a record store)...I suggest that if you see both, one with a price way higher than the other, take a listen before buying. Anyways, that was my experience.
Better to get it online, if its still available.
I got a sticker on mine:
New version of "DOG IN THE SAND" Features the original album & 4 NEW unlisted bonus tracks not on the original record. The bonus tracks where recorded by Joey Santiago & include Frank Black's original acoustic demos of: Robert Onion . Blast Off Stupid Me . If It Takes All Night
Yes. Look for the sticker the Paradise is talking about. Also, the tracks are exclusive to the spinART reissue only. They wont be on the Cooking Vinyl or What Are Records? releases.

I see all 4, but, yea, looks like "stupid me" and "robert onion" also have their title tags switched.

In America W.A.R.?(What Are Records?) was the label, and in Europe it was Cooking Vinyl. SpinART aquired the rights in 2002, and rereleased it with those extras. In fact, if I recall correctly, the bonus track line up is sequentially wrong from the printed order.

I think I have the What Are Records? one.

Posted - 12/30/2006 : 15:39:12 Mine doesn't even have the bonus tracks listed, you just have to know to keep listening. The order, for what it's worth, is: Robert Onion/Blast Off/Stupid Me/If It Takes All Night

Posted - 12/30/2006 : 14:32:10 Yeah, it was re-released with acoustic versions of Robert Onion, If It Takes All Night, Stupid Me, and Blast Off tacked to the end of the disc.
I can't remember who originally put the album out, only recall that when I got it Sonic Unyon was the Canadian imprint. The reissue with the tracks in question, though, I'm quite sure was on spinART.
