Hey, anybody know the estimated ebay value for the Japanese import cd of Pistolero with the bonus track "Valley of our Hope"?

Heh, good call Ed. Sometimes I don't notice if there are lots of topics, I just open 'em all and read one by one after to see what's going on.

Try JB Hi-Fi. If you're in Sydney, HMV in Martin Place will probably stock it (at an inflated price).

Funny. I said "Dean . . . " meaning "maybe this belongs in another spot than the LIVE section." I guess I am the analest person here.

Not literally. See, some people joke.....oh, forget it. It was all meant in helpless parental humor.

But now, if you DO get hit by lightning, everbody will wonder....
coastline Posted - 10/27/2006 : 17:22:03
Like I said, tasteless. And may lightning strike me if I ever consider hurting my sons.

High five!

ScottP, I can relate to that and I'm not a monster.

Oh nothing. I was assuming you were commenting on the "shaken baby" suggestion.

While it is awful to hear about some innocent child being shaken, most parents can somewhat relate to wanting to do that to their kid at least once (only in the deepest, darkest, most secret part of one's imagination, of course). My son is going to be 15 at the end of this month and sometimes, I could just shake the snake piss out of him if he wasn't so damn big. I don't think he'd shake very good.

Sorry if I offended.

Did Pistolero come out in Australia? If so, just do a web search for the label. Maybe they sell it online.

Also, Sanity (who, I guess, bought out HMV in Australia or something) have it.

Or you could go to ebay, where Pistolero is being sold by two English sellers at the moment who ship worldwide.

Speaking of Pistolero, if this new line-up wants to learn a track or two, I could dig "85 Weeks" by the California swing. Frank is a man who can do what he wants, at least regarding his art. Another new one or a dip into the archive? Ever an "85 Weeks" on stage? If you got that in your pocket, you're in clover.

I'm guessing you are a non-parent, coastline.

Well, then, THAT was tasteless.

I would be even loster without my two pristine, licensed copies of the mighty Pistolero.

Good luck IWP. Amazon?

And, might I suggest a little shaken baby syndrome?

There are plenty of places. Check out our Discopedia, it has some links to where you can find it (ignore the iTunes link since the Australian iTunes seems not to have it):
