FB,

I noticed on your MOG you've been steered in the direction of the great John Prine. Duane J. played with/for him in the past, so surely he's got tons of input on JP. As you know, Prine is a legendary songwriter and, like you, one of a kind.

If I may, let me suggest the following prime Prines to whet your appetite:

Sabu Visits the Twin Cities Alone (that title rivals some of your best...it's about the Elephant Boy and what his life is like when the lights aren't on him and his movies went kaput)
Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian
Spanish Pipedream
Please Don't Bury Me

Also, as an aside, please rev it up a bit on Conan this weekend. Give em an upbeat number like J. Barleycorn (you guys' best-sounding live number off FMRM, imo) or maybe even a rare new one like Wanderlust, if the keys are available (as opposed to 'sleepers' like Cold Heart of Stone on Kilborn). Kick that ass and sell some records, my man!!!

All my best,
FranknWeezer

Yeah buddy. Did you read my little tribute on my MOG (EdBanky) the other day? It features Sabu.

My vote is for "Dead Man's Curve" which sounds absolutely monstrous live and with the band.
