Posted - 09/12/2006 : 03:59:33 hey there folks,
War Child, the UK charity, are trying to raise some money for children affected by the war in Iraq. The venture's called The Big Swap and is loosely based on the red paperclip guy who swapped a paperclip for a house.
Anyway... after six trades we've got a trip to Lynchburg, Tennessee, to see Frank Black play with some Nashville greats at an invite only show. Guy Garvey of Elbow and Richard Hawley are also playing. 4* accommodation in Lynchburg and flights from London is thrown in. If anyone fancies going and has something cool to trade, please go to the website: www.the-big-swap.com
Thanks!
Owen

Although that wouldn't really have any cash value for a swap.
...
I'm assuming War Child doesn't want involvement on the black market.

Posted - 09/12/2006 : 06:47:11 Wow, didn't realize our little paperclip guy was quite so big. The house he has is pretty close to here (in Canadian standards).
Good luck with that, maybe I'll post it in the news...
