Not every record shop where i live sells Frank Black CDs. Infact in the city of Limerick only three places stock FB, HMV, Virgin megastores and Empire music. Now it's only two. Today while browsing around Virgin i was amazed to see that the FB section had been completely removed, and extra Black Eyed Peas albums put in its place.

Evidence via camera phone:

What the fuck?
Virgin was second in my FB cd resources (Empire being first, and HMV third since they only stock two copies of Honeycomb and a copy of Pistolero that has a dodgy case)

Has anyone else come across this kind of...lets call it Frankism.
If Virgin doesn't stock Fastman Raiderman, i'm afraid i'll have to protest by taking a dump in there shop. {Even though i'll still be able to get it in Empire he he}

I think it was just Noel Gallagher and not the whole of Oasis, I might be wrong. I do love Oasis though. Noel Gallagher was apparently desperate to play on the record as he is such a huge fan of Ricky Gervais.

Have you guys heard the version he recorded with Oasis? It's ace. It's also the best thing Oasis every recorded.

"the video would have shown that"

I usually imagine the video when I try to write a song. You know, to help explain it.

I for one don't need the tab because I spent quite a while watching the DVD working out the chords.

Is that sad?

David: #Little while later I see a cowboy crying,
I said, "Hey buddy, what can I do?"
He says, "I lived a good life, had about a thousand women."
I said "Why the tears?", he says "'cause none of them was you." #

Tim : "what, *you*?"
David : "No, he's looking at a photograph"
Tim : "Oh. Of you ?"
David : (testy) "No. Of his girlfriend. The video would have shown that."
Time : "Oh, yeah, sorry David. It just sounds a bit gay at the moment"
David : "It's *not* gay !"

I know we've gone completely off topic here, but the TAB for "Free Love On The Free Love Freeway" is here:

I don't even have a HMV or Virgin Megastore, never mind any cool indie shops :(

It would get seriously depressing shopping for music at HMV and Virgin Megastores all the time. Your poor people without nice local indie shops....

Tim: He went home to get it.

The Black Eyed Peas don't deserve to be in the same rack as Frank. That would be insulting to the man.

Fopp in Dundee usually has a fair selection of Frank Black stuff. I only ever really buy CDs in Fopp but the last time I was in Virgin they had a few as well, don't know about HMV, though. Anyhoo, if you can't find an album somewhere, go onto Tesco's website, they have everything, and I mean eveerything, it's usually cheaper as well. Couldn't find Thurston Moore's album afetr it was re-released a couple of months ago, but sure enough, it was on Tesco, for like £7.97 or something.

Really?!

I see TOTY all the time, but only the one disc edition, of course.

ishops are all well and good but stuff coming through the post bores me.
Plus the posty round my way takes days off regardless of wheither there are letters to be delivered or not. so stuff can some times take ages to be received.

On the fifth day, due to the complicated perceptiveness with which man now saw the world with, man used his newly-evolved mind (the one he got on the fourth day) to invent God to clear up any anomalies in his relatively deficient knowledge. On the sixth day, man invented the internet with whatever spares he had left over. He saw that it was good. Very good indeed.

On the seventh day (and everyday since), man has been sitting around scratching his balls after coming to the conclusion that there was nothing left to be invented.

So yeah, basically: ishops.

True, you can bet a Pixies album anywhere, even thought they're over ten years old.
Frank on the other hand is a current artist. There's just no justice

To get my Frank records I had to either go into the nearest city (Manchester), which isn't far but still they should be in every record shop anyway, or I had to phone the record shops and ask them to order it for me. It's annoying looking around record shops and not seeing Frank's records. There's always plenty Pixies though...
