Between 40 and 43 seconds into the song there is a tiny snippet which I swear I've heard on a Pixies song before but I just cant put my finger on which one. Aside from listening to the whole Pixies catalogue, I dunno how else to figure it out.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

That's actually a very good cereal. But what the hell is the pork crackling in fbc's post?

What the hell is crackling? Is their an American translation or equal of this mysterious treat?

MMMMMmm crackling.

I have just salivated over my erect penis at the thought of crackling.

Cooking his dad until crackled and scratched was lesson enough.

Wanna see him?

Right, now I'm off to go listen to 'Man of Steel': Is there a place?

Keep going, the both of you. Very funny to read.

Oh yeah. But first Im going to force him to work as a subsistence farmer in Ethiopa whilst I wear 500quid ski glasses and prick around in front of him.

Shirley you've got room for Bono somewhere amongst the slaughter?
a guy in a rover Posted - 04/19/2006 : 10:56:49
Oh yeah. I forgot you had blue blood in your family. You will be spared from my cull when I take over the universe.
I estimate a slaughter of 97% of the earths population. I will start by making an example of Usher Raymond by nailing his head on a spike and sticking it through Snoop Doggs face. Then anyone who thinks about annoying me will know to think twice.

Hats off and pass them around. I haven't made a single penny with that makeshift tip jar.

yep, i hear the similarity too

Holy Fingers Posted - 04/19/2006 : 07:57:19
I am not saying that you are incorrect, fbc. It is easy to see the similarities in the two sets of chord progressions. They are practically interchangable. While listening to each song however, it was not obvious enough to spark something in my subconcious. Hats off to you, fbc.

Close enough to be correct.
I trust my subconcious 100%
Pixie songs were once my guitar tuner

Tips are all mine!
Holy Fingers Posted - 04/17/2006 : 15:27:36
It's close, but not that close. Maybe because i'm being told to listen for it, rather than my subconcious mind asking me what it is. I'm gonna play both on the guitar, then i'll add some more input, and a picture of a tip jar.

I've played them on my guitar and listend to them but I still don't hear anything particularly similar. Oh well...
