in the liner notes to the headache single, there are numerous references to "john tiven". is this a typo, or a diferent tiven completely? or some third, less rational explanation...?

anyone know?

I downloaded the accoustic "Citizen" a couple weeks ago (on Soulseek) and just listened to it last week- very good.

Yes. The first copy of TOTY that I bought had an acoustic version. it was used, so i don't know what release it was. maybe an import? well, anyways, i lost that copy and went out and bought a brand-new one. when i listened to it i was shocked to hear the non-acoustic version.

"there's one thing i cannot stand. i can't stand those little four wheelers. OUT OF MY WAY!" (that's how the song ends)

I have got used to people misspelling my name over the years. Some people just don't care. Can you believe it?

Thanks for reminding me about those backing vocals, they were fun to do. The session went by so quickly, and it was so long ago, much of it is a blur by now.

bye,
Jon Tiven

also, according to the liner notes, it says that john (jon) and sally tiven provided additional backing vocals on "men in black".

what about the acoustic version of "pure denizen"? is that on the french TOTY, as well?

Thanks for the clarification, fellas. I knew we'd recorded it, but when I searched my cd collection I could find nary a trace.

I have Headace (NYC Version) on my Japanese TOTY. Sounds like it could be a "quasi-acoustic" version.

Is it just me, or are the "Headache" singles the coolest CDs ever?

To be exact, JT produced "Men in Black", "At the End of the World", "Oddball" (Headache #2) and "Hate Me" (Headache #1).

It is indeed that Tiven. He produced the B-sides.
