I have recently been expanding my favorites menu, and added some Frank (and Pixies) links. They're all probably sites most people around here are already aware of. In any case, I thought a thread to add Frank links to might be good. I'll start one in The Pixies section, too!

I Could Stay Here Forever.

Has'nt been updated for several years, but there ya go!!

http://membres.lycos.fr/fblack/

The Eyesore Data Base (Frank Black).

The eyesore database contains a list of recordings by 4AD artists-this is it's FB section!

http://quimby.gnus.org/html/group/blackfrank.html

Check out the rest of the site for more stuff.

Surf-Feast (FB Downloads).

This has been posted here before.

Frank Black Guitar Tab Archive.

Fb.Net's ProverbialCereal's site.

Hee-Hee!

This is a really obscure site!!

Carl, dude, have you checked this out, yet? Very cool indeed, huh. Cult of Frank's added the links here to there.

We need to fill this place, http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14926&SearchTerms=,pixies,links with YouTube vid links of the band.

Sorry Carl, I've just found out the episode was of the 'At Last! The 1948 Show'. Apparantly they didn't realise (BBC) it's importance at the time.
Carl Posted - 04/08/2006 : 08:13:27
Newly unearthed Python?! Dr. Who has suffered quite badly because of the BBC's practice in time's past of throwing things out/wiping over tapes, apparently. Fortunately, some lost episodes/material turn up in the attics of people around the world, and gets restored for new release-hopefully, there are secret stashes of Frankness hidden in the archieves of TV studios arounf the world, just waiting to be dug out!

fbc Posted - 04/08/2006 : 08:04:10
I watched a programme last night called MISSING BELIEVED WIPED, about collectors who have unearthed and restored missing footage from British television that were apparantly lost from the BBC archives. They restored a Monty Python episode from the late 60's using clips from different sources. They used an audio recording of the show to put the clips in their relevant order. Pretty Kewl. Anyway...

This fB stuff is out there

30 second clips

(but that's 30 seconds more than the official fB DVD)

Hey Carl, very cool thread, some very good stuff here

And Guitar Man, is that a pile of gold that you stepped into there or what!

My favorite is the 4th picture down (that smile sure is contagious isn't it)
and my second favorite is the last one.
