Hey Man, you started all that sun bitch shit, if anyone's to blame it's you. But that's OK, I've got your back.

Hey LBF, thanks for nothing...keep that blasphemous bullshit elsewhere...I prefer blissful ignorance...KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN!, huh...
excuse me?
Let me walk you through this idea:
I always thought Sun Bitch = Sun goddess
Sekhmet, the egyptian goddess of the sun, the "Destructor" = sun bitch, female but not nice.
as pertains to Rome, worship of the Virgin Mary was similar to the worhip of other sun goddesses in older civilizations, esp. there wasn't much of a concept of a "loving god" in antiquity
If that's too complicated for you to understand I can start insulting you too
... Tell your mom to save me a plate.
Hey Man, obviously my attempt at facetious humor was misunderstood. Allow me to explain:
Blasphemous bullshit: the article you posted offered up some very interesting insight concerning the similarities between Chritianity and Roman mythology, similarities that tend to challenge or make one re-examine whether the similarities were coincidental or whether Christianity stole those concepts from the Romans and passed them off as the story of the virgin birth of Christ. I mean did the Christ story really happen or was it just borrowed from an earlier religion.
My remark, "blasphemous bullshit" was meant to sound facetiously pious and close-minded and funny, but not rude and insulting.
I tried to make my attempt at humor even more clear when I stated that I preferred "blissful ignorance", e.g., even if that article is correct, don't tell me about it, I don't want to know. This narrow-minded attitude is not one that I subscribe to and my comment "blissful ignorance" was meant to underscore the essence of such thinking.
So, I hope you understand, I was not insulting you, I was just having some fun, huh.

Posted - 11/10/2005 : 14:44:36 A former colleague of mine used to refer to hot weather as "bitch hot." Say it was more than 25 degrees or so, he'd come in sweating and talk about how, "Man, it's bitch hot out there." Perhaps this is more widespread than I realize?

why thanyou. i've always wondered if it was sunny or sonny. my guess was "sunny" but i checked this sites lyrics section and voila, "sonny".
Actually, I decided to look it up on Google, and it turns out that both might be acceptable, and the "sonny" spelling might be more acceptable in that particular case. There was apparently a cereal mascot called Sunny Jim, but, when using the term as an insult, "sonny" makes more sense. So I don't really know.

Posted - 11/10/2005 : 13:55:13 Yeah, Oldman, i thought it was a good explaination of a Sun Bitch. And considering the amount i've learnt from this site through discussing the lyrics, LBF's sun bitch seems like something fB would know about. He knows so much. Or maybe I know so little.
Anyway, i like Heywood's thought. Cursing the sun for being so hot, "bitch!". |
