can't get it out of my head. Love the ending of this song, too. Don't really like the upbeat parts as much.

Just wanted to say that.

also, this would make a great song for a skate video
(even better than LA)

yes, as said, this is an awesome one to play on the geet. The intro is so fun and strange, and I absolutely love the upbeat parts. Love the openin lyrics too (As fluorescents do, they blink all over the walls...). This was a cover right? of who??

Agreed, incredible song.
My favorite off of TOTY.

I love it too. A real glam rock boogie pastiche!!

that are the most amazing lyrics ever
very different than say St.Francis Dam Disaster
those lyrics are great
you can't compare them with these of course
but these lyrics are on such a high level
(of abstraction)

Oh yeah, killer lyrics. If memory serves something like this:

As fluorescents do they blink over the floor
Of her majestic halls, they do
I hear surf on kazoo
I march with the militia of the mime
Malicious are the times, malicious
In the doors we all flew
To see the great indoors
And her majestic stalls we flew
Waves break on the shore of the zoo
And I see how Laurasia sure has changed
Imaginary planes, imagine
I hit the mall on every Friday
When it was biggest in the world
The hostest with the mostest

Fucking Frank, man, he kills me every time.

Swimming in the heavy water, buried in the sand
Happy hearts fall from my shaking hands

I hit the mall on ever friday, when it was (the) biggest in the world

something like that right? Don't have the lyrics here
but that line is amazing
in the same vein of Pure Denizen
those songs are so great, so much in them, so quick

I love that tune lots, one of my fave FB songs to play while tooling about on my guitar.

"Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, morecambe and wise"

As a wise uber-fan once said of "Hostess" - it's three songs in one, in under two minutes. The very definition of brilliant.
