Posted - 09/13/2005 : 15:28:42 excuse me if this is old news. I was in starbucks yesterday, and as i was leaving i heard a familiar song. It was frank. I called my buddy and he confirmed he heard a song from Honeycomb last week. Are we screwed forevermore? Will there ever be another frank show with less than 100 people? I think our cult hero has been exposed by the corporate coffee business. |

well i think having frank play (live or recorded) anywhere is super cool.
Yeah, I agree. I actually wouldn't mind if FB songs were used in commercials. I know most would disagree with me on this one. |

Posted - 09/17/2005 : 00:03:58 I work at Borders and Honeycomb is played over the PA all day. It's mixed in with other songs but I'm certain I've heard every song off of the the album now.

Posted - 09/14/2005 : 12:05:57 Isn't exactly Frank, but the starbucks near me plays Pet Sounds quite a lot, which i reckon is still pretty darn good.
Who said anything about carving you up, man? I just wanted to carve a Z into your forehead... |

Posted - 09/13/2005 : 17:55:20 well i think having frank play (live or recorded) anywhere is super cool. my faves that we have discussed before is when it comes up un expectedly in movies. however I suport frank's music being wherever music can be! it can only improve taste of the average human and get us true fans really reved up!
for as much starbucks he drinks, hopefully he worked out a trade of some sort for free coffee
