Posted - 09/05/2005 : 19:45:56 Not possible now as Johnny unfortunately passed in '03 - but I have been thinking it would have been nice to see JC do a cover/interpretation of a Frank Black song. There are some really great cover versions on American/Unearthed from a wide variety of songwriters. A difficult decision to select an appropriate song. Maybe Dog Gone? I don't know... Any song would have been interesting though.

Rick Rubin is from more of my era, he produced half of the music i listened to for a time.I think he brought JC into the light for the generation that only knew him from the generation that forgot him.
