This is the only mention I've heard about them...

"And then I had just finished the Catholics, and even if we didn’t say it was the last tour it sure felt like the fuckin’ last tour. We’d been playing together a long time, ten years of hard touring and loading our own gear and not making a lotta money out of it, and we’re hittin’ the mid-life crisis. And they’re all getting mad at me ‘cause I’m forcing them to record live to two-track for the umpteenth time." (UnCut interview, 2005)

Harris hasn't posted here for quite awhile....

Judging by that line, I doubt he plans to bring them back any time soon...

It kinda sucks, because, musically, I thought they were getting into a pretty good groove.

I think Frank has said repeatedly that he's not even thinking about it as he has Honeycomb and Pixies going on right now. But I too at some point hope the Catholics rear their beautiful heads again with Frank. I never did get to see them live.

I thought that I'd read that they were just taking a break while Frank did Pixies stuff.

This is a high class bureau de change, not some Punch & Judy show on the seafront at Margate!

catholics are dead and there is no much hope for the future with fuhrer ratzinger as a pope either. times are changing and i guess we have to live with it.

May the farce be with you

oops, slight morphological problem with the post above. The group Scott WAS (and apparently no longer is?) involved in is called The Worried. Here is an interesting article. It appears to be from 2001 though, so maybe this is nothing new:

If I am not mistaken, Scott Boutier is currently drumming in a band called The Worries. If you do a google search, you can find some info.
