I imagine there has been a thread like this before, but I was wondering where you think Honeycomb fits in, and if you think Show Me Your Tears has aged well.

Here's my pick:

1) Frank Black S/T
2) Honeycomb
3) Teenager of The Year
4) Dog In The Sand
5) Cult of Ray
6) Frank Black and the Catholics S/T
7) Pistolero
8) Show Me Your Tears
9) Black Letter Days
10) Devil's Workshop

I could have sworn, in an anternate time-line, almost everyone but a few ranked COR last....!?

Different time-line, or is that album gaining the respect it deserved in the first place?

(P.S. I cannot rank the albums, at this stage in my life I find it too intellectually challenging a task)

A couple of things I'd like to say:

1) I am shocked speachless upon seeing Harvest Moon ranked below Landing On Water.
2) Yes, you did indeed forget Everybody's Rockin'.
3) The subject of this thread was a ranking of the albums of Frank Black.

Also missed Mirrorball with Pearl Jam, plus Hawks and Doves.

This is a high class bureau de change, not some Punch & Judy show on the seafront at Margate!
The Case For Mars Posted - 08/13/2005 : 03:04:07
My first response would be what ever album I'm listening to, but that's a cop out so...

3. Frank Black
4. Devil's

7. SMYT

9. FB&TC
10. Cult of Ray (Punk Rock City I still have to skip on occasion)

I don't consider Oddballs or SSMVGD real albums (sorry)

Oh, I heavily advise you this one and 1.Outside wich is indoubtedly his best of the 90's...
Lucky you, you still have Bowie albums to discover!!! It's not my case any more for quite a while now...

Oh, will you see AS Dragon this evening entre le Pont Marie et le pont de Sully?
Don't know if you dig them. Not bad for a French band....

vilainde Posted - 07/21/2005 : 01:40:39
That's because I haven't heard them. My Bowie collection is far from complete, I don't have Let's Dance, Tonight, the 2 TM records, Black Tie, Buddha and Outside.
