It's a relative scale: take your favorites from the album and give them tens and then go from there. I know it's tempting to give every song a 10, but it's very likely that some of these songs may be really really special to you whereas others, although awesome, aren't your particular favorites.

Los Angeles - 10
I Heard Ramona Sing - 9
Hang on to Your Ego - 8
Fu Manchu - 8
Places Named After Numbers -10
Czar - 9
Old Black Dawning - 7
Ten Percenter - 10
Brackish Boy - 10
Two Spaces - 10
Tossed - 9
Parry the Wind High, Low - 10
Adda Lee - 8
Every Time I Go Around Here - 9 (this is the only song that sounds like it might fit on DITS)
Don't Ya Rile 'Em - 9

And by the way: has anyone noticed the incredible diversity on TUYA? Seriously, on this one album, Frank does everything. Adda Lee has about six hooks and it's only two minutes long. Whereas its sucessor, three and a half minutes long, only really has one solid hook (plus a kickanus accoustic guitar introduction); I find it amazing how some songs can be so simple whereas other songs can be complicated as hell, and yet not a single song sounds out of place.

There's a space after every hyphen, so they wouldn't really work as minus signs.

All songs on this album get a "10"...except for my most hated Frank Black song of all time: Everytime I go Around Here. That one gets a BIG FAT TURKEY! As far as I'm concerned, that song should be scrapped from existence. Okay, I'm ready for the flak!

Parry the Wind is one of Frank Black's greatest accomplishments. I love the rock licks, the intensity in the vocals, the screaming guitar solo, the muted guitar, the space noise, the bangin drum toms, the low and loud bass drum, the group singing, the two clashing time signatures, and finally the drums ending the song. If one song were to summarize what Frank Black can do as a musician, I think this would be worthy of representation.

By the way, the use of the phrase "TUYA" was not intended as a floop ripoff. It's the proper name.
