yet another classic dilemma (can't take credit for the inspiration though)

If you were offered $1mil, tax free 'n all, in exchange for never having heard or known about Pixies+FB's music (but at the same time somehow understanding what you're letting go), would you take it? Maybe a different amount? Everyone has a price, right?

oh, here's another incessant cranium pounder

If you had to choose between the two (imagine some kinda medical condition or sumthin), which sense would you rather keep, your sight or your hearing?

Or if you don't want to answer, maybe you can contribute with a nuttier question, mm? It's fun really.

Seeing that you got the cash, I'll mail you these awesome records I've been listening too. Think you might like 'em.

How about , say £100? Small price to pay for some amazing rock and roll.

And Santa. Hands down.

It just occured to me... we're actually collectively letting go several million dollars to have his/their music. Heh, I could also see it as an investment then, one of my best, small contribution and years of generous repayment.

I'd rather walk around for a year with a turd necklace wrapped around my neck than never have heard of frank. million dollars but nothing to put in the cd player just gets me bored and an outrageous drug habit.

thanks, conspiracy, for the link.

cult, if you could post your logo too, it would be great. it should be made available on fb.net too, i think. i mean, this logo is cool twice: once, because of the sheer idea that one man "needs" a logo, and twice, because the design is hilarious. i loooooooove that logo !

CoF, I hear you and heed your words.

Would you be able to post that image too please, you'll be quicker than me. I'd love to see it upon my screen.

a) Two Reelers, I do have it, I'll post it here if that other one doesn't work out. I made a shirt (orange) with that FB guitar logo on it and got the Catholics to sign it to show my love of FB solo + FB&C's.

I should mention that FBC, as a new member, it might help you to go through old topics to get your fill of FB related stuff. If you see any threads that are old but you'd like to comment on, feel free to post on them. Not to say you shouldn't start new threads, it just helps to have people look through the old ones and bring stuff back to the fore from time to time.

upside down and outta focus but i'm photoshoppin' it back to its original brilliance.
frank black conspiracy Posted - 11/30/2004 : 05:54:57
I did. I made one of those tacky t-shirts you iron on the image. still, it was an FB shirt.
I will try and find it and scan it in. And yeah, that logo is incredible.

hopefully, to make this clear once for all:

1) the orange album is orange (with a bit of brown) on the vinyl version
2) the orange album is yellow on the CD version

!!! but more important to me: on the orange album, there is this incredible FB-logo - you know, the letters F&B arranged in such a way that it looks like a man with a guitar. does anybody have this logo digitally on his/her PC/apple/workstion ??? this would be great !!!!

Hey, that FB vs. peace on earth is just not fair! You can't go that far, I won't play anymore.

Oh, okay. If anyone can point me in there direction I can apologise for pinching their thread. And the Orange album is Yellow.
frank black conspiracy Posted - 11/30/2004 : 04:59:03
Sorry tisasawath, I did mean to answer...er...I gotta take the music every time.

I can earn the cash if I could be bothered, but I know i could never write songs like Frank.
tisasawath Posted - 11/30/2004 : 04:51:09
no, no, no
you have to answer or/and ask a new question

We want to stay on topic, not steer away like that FB vs. FB&TC and acronyms vs. colours thread.

<edit: I was replying to FBC's reply>

The problem with this topic (FB vs. Pixies and FB vs TC) is that it has been discussed not so long ago on this very board. I guess people don't feel like explaining the same things all over again, so instead they make fun of it. I think FB vs. 1M$ is funny. How about FB vs. peace on earth and good will towards men? Choose! Choose! frank_black_conspiracy, you should check out some of the older posts and you'll get your answers.

w'oh, chill.

This board seemed to be dying on it's feet. I was just offering some questions on Frank, so that the Frank Black Forum would chat about Frank Black rather than shit you could find on a Yahoo message board.

I don't really give a fuck some guy couldn't get it up.

General chat is the main place to post. That sucks.
