Being a Pixie fan since 1990 I finally was in the right place at the right time and was able to see the Pixies Live in Akron Ohio. It lived up to my expectations, I left the show awestruck.     |

I saw them for the first time at Brixton this year. It's been along time coming and will go down as one of the greatest nights of my life. But months later, i'm missing Frank Black. No Pixies, just Frank. I've seen my all time favourite band now, something I never believed would happen, but after worshipping and wearing down so much of their catalogue over the years, I feel my Pixies fixation is complete and all but done. Bit of an anti-climax really. Seeing them was something I just had to do. Nostalgia.
Sorry if I sounded abit down about it or low Ukulele Dave, my main point is wait until you get the chance you see Frank Black being Frank Black. Awesome.

I bet it was pretty exciting waiting to see them come on that night. I saw them on the Trompe Le Monde tour, and I was very pumped up to see them again this time. Although I must say I would be maybe even a little more pumped up for a Catholics tour right about now since I've missed his last several trips through Texas. |
