Howdy all.
I would gladly pay the legal download fee to iTunes for this song, but my old iMac is running 9.2, so it won't interface with iTunes or read those new-fangled ACC files.
Also, since I'm using a Mac, Soulseek and Bittorrent are both out of the question.
If someone can privately send me a high-quality MP3 of this song, I'll immediately Paypal $2 to Dave Noisy, and he can forward it on to Ken Goes or Frank Black's personal e-mail and they can buy some Chicklets for the band bus.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can facilitate this. It would mean a great deal to me. PM me for the e-mail account I can accept it at...

I am embarrassed to say this but I am in the same boat. OK, a really lame boat. I can't even do MP3, only olde fashioned CDs. Help? (I, too, would gladly pitch in some bucks.)

A kind soul hooked me up with the MP3 version of this. It doesn't sound perfect (there's lots of phasing issues and a few glitches) but alt least I can hear it.
I'm getting ready to Paypal $1.50 to Mr. Noisy with instructions for him to please forward it to the proper authorities. Hopefully he won't mind doing this, as I'm all about playing by the rules when it comes to THIS sort of thing.

| Why can't you just have the person buy another copy off of iTunes, since they're supposed to have the "exclusive" anyway, and Pixies still get royalty? |

you COULD do that, but youd either have to set up your own account and give that person your password, or have someone else give you their password, OR you have to have the person burn the file then rerip it (obvious quality loss). i tried this with the frank black exclusive ep, and itunes certainly makes it a pain to share the files and also make it a pain for some of us to even get the files to begin with

Might one of the masters of this site suggest an option for those of us losers who can't do mp3s but can only hear on CD this majestic, long-awaited tune? I may not be hip but I wanna be legit, so I'd be willing to fork out some cash. Thanks!

I have been trying to get a copy of that for a week now. Being in Canada I have no access to itunes, and I sent soulseek a donation a week ago and I have yet to get my email to activate my account so that I could download it from there.
